Tiredness, a problem of modern life

We lead a rhythm of life, sometimes almost hellish, unbearable. And it has its consequences. Access to different technologies, long and exhaustive working hours, economic problems and a myriad of activities that we must carry out in our daily lives are causing a crisis of fatigue in a large part of the world population.

This is a problem that has not been recognized as such, but that is becoming a burden for those who suffer from it. There are many problems associated with fatigue, some as common as these that we are going to see.

Sometimes the fatigue that we have prevents us from carrying out our daily activities normally.  It is the first step to enter a situation that causes us great worry and stress regarding our obligations.

Fatigue limits the quality and quantity of activities that a person can do and can develop depression.

It is important that this situation is addressed. We must analyze our agenda to identify the activities and obligations that can be changed, postponed or eliminated, starting with the least necessary.

Sometimes, the person who suffers fatigue loses all intention of interacting with those around him and only wants time to rest and sleep.

Although it is recommended that the person take time for himself, it is also important to maintain those relationships to avoid loneliness.

One of the most visible consequences of fatigue is accidents. These usually occur when the person is so exhausted that he loses control, both of his body and of the objects that can harm him.

When there are symptoms of fatigue, falls or minor bumps are common, but also serious car accidents that can cause harm to others.

Solutions to problems caused by fatigue

When this situation arises, it  is important to avoid caffeine and tobacco because they often prevent the body from getting adequate rest.

It is also very important that sleep habits are monitored, we must remember that it is the best tool our body has to recover after a hard day at work.

In case it is not possible to sleep for a long period of time, you can choose to have small naps of between 20 and 40 minutes or up to an hour. Although the body does not rest the same in this way, it manages to have a better recovery and order of ideas.

Another aspect that must be taken care of is food.  It must always be varied and healthy to guarantee the correct supply of vitamins and minerals that the body needs to function properly.

Your life is more important than any activity

Finally, it must be remembered that our life and health are the most important, so we must give ourselves a space to play sports, socialize and have a better quality of life.

It is a fundamental question to maintain an order in our life, identify priorities and adjust our day based on it. This does not mean that work is left aside for the family, but it is necessary to give everything its respective space. Each activity has its moment and you have to know how to maintain a balance between all of them to lead a life as pleasant and relaxed as possible.
